British tourists hit by cautioning as Turkey to accomplish 42C | Weather | News

The Foreign Office alert read: “Extreme temperatures can impact many areas of Turkey over the summer months.”

The NHS has also splitd advice on how to deal with the sweltering conditions while visiting Turkey and other holiday areas currently in the grip of a heatwave.  

The NHS has proposed: “Keep out of the heat if you can. If you have to go outside, stay in the shade especipartner between 11am and 3pm, wear sunscreen, a hat and airy clothes, and elude exercise or activity that produces you hotter.”

Further guidance included: “Cool yourself down. Have freezing food and drinks, elude liquor, caffeine and hot drinks, and have a cageder shower or put cageder water on your skin or clothes. 

“Keep your living space cageder. Cneglect thrivedows during the day and uncover them at night when the temperature outside has gone down. Electric fans can help if the temperature is below 35 degrees.

Latest weather maps by WXCHARTS, which engages data from Met Desk, proposeed most of the country will see temperatures rising above 30C on Tuesday, August 13. The hottest areas will be in the south of the country, according to the maps.

Yasabey Kalebas, the chair of the Bottled Water Producers Association (SUDER), spoke to Anadolu Agency (AA) on Thursday, highairying a meaningful elevate in bottled water consumption due to the hot weather. 

Kalebas said: “As temperatures elevate, bottled water consumption increases. Especipartner in the summer, sales of bottled water in both huge jugs and plastic bottles have seen an overall increase of more than 35 percent.”
