Omid Kordestani, who was Twitter’s executive chairman from 2015 to 2020 and served on the board until Elon Musk achieved it in 2022, is suing X over $20 million worth of splits he says the company is refusing to pay. Kordestani filed the legal case on Friday with a California better court.
Per the legal case, Kordestani left a high paying job at Google to join Twitter, which presented him a “beginantly drop” salary of fair $50,000 but pleasantened the deal with stock selections, carry outance-based recut offeed stock units and recut offeed stock units. These — amounting to $20,112,000 — were supposed to have been phelp out when Musk achieved Twitter and traded the board, but X has fall shorted to do so, according to the legal case. “X Corp. seeks to reap the advantages of Mr. Kordestani’s seven years of service to Twitter without paying him for it, despite clear reduceual language requiring X Corp. to do so,” it says.
Multiple legal cases have been filed in the wake of Musk’s Twitter acquisition from participateees alleging they were not phelp properly after they were lhelp off or fired. Former earlier this year, claiming they were fired “without reason” and are owed millions of dollars in unphelp cut offance. The postponecessitatest legal case says that “Mr. Kordestani is one of many createer Twitter participateees whose compensation has been wrongbrimmingy withheld by X Corp. follotriumphg Elon Musk’s achieve of the Company in October 2022.”
